It’s not every day that you get to paddle your way through  10,000 year old mangrove forest creeks with the opportunity of seeing dolphins along the way and kayaking up close to shipwrecks, relics of a bygone era. It’s a special experience that simply can’t be replicated, which is why Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours is a must-do! Our guides are marine biologists who have experience and knowledge of working with marine mammals and wildlife. Participants don’t need any prior kayaking experience, and we travel at a comfortable pace to accommodate reasonable fitness levels. Our kayaks have deluxe seats fitted for extra comfort. We depart from private facilities at Garden Island.

  • Tour duration: 3hrs
  • What is provided:  kayak, paddles, life jacket, water proof bag
  • What to bring:  dress for weather conditions (layers are a good option), protection from sun, water bottle and snack, camera/phone (we do provide water proof bags), shoes that can get wet (optional) or flip flops are OK.
  • Can be cancelled if unsuitable weather/water conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Public Tours
Bookings of 5 or less participants: If cancellations are made less than 24 hrs prior to scheduled departure date or participants fail to show, we are unable to provide a refund or reschedule.

Bookings of 6 or more passengers: Cancellations within 7 days of departure date are charged at $10.00 per participant. If cancellations are made less than 48 hrs prior to scheduled departure date or participants fail to show, we are unable to provide a refund or reschedule.

Private Tours
Cancellations made less than 1-month prior will forfeit 50% of the tour cost, and we are unable to reschedule. If cancellations are made less than 7 days prior to scheduled departure date or participants fail to show—the full tour amount will be charged, and we are unable to reschedule

Dolphin Sanctuary Kayak Tours reserves the right to cancel any charters due to inclement weather conditions. Cancellations due to inclement weather conditions are offered a full refund or rescheduled tour date. Our refund policy does not cover travel or accommodation booked by the passenger. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
