After being ravaged by fire in the 2018 Tathra bushfires the park is undergoing a careful period of rejuvenation and rebuilding. Tathra Beach Eco Camp has been lovingly and painstakingly brought back from disaster to offer guests a uniquely natural and immersive quality stay.
We offer large open green spaces, dedicated nature areas (like our kitchen garden & chicken run), and truly welcoming and stylishly designed, unique accommodation options for all types of travellers. Surrounded by national parks and directly opposite a pristine beach, Tathra Beach Eco Camp provides both opportunity for guests to unwind in natural surrounds, but also immerse themselves in a range of outdoor, nature based, adventure activities. Whether it’s our cultural area, bush tucker garden, or our dedicated kangaroo resting zone, we respect our environment and encourage our guests to enjoy it!

We would love everyone to experience Tathra Beach Eco Camp, but we understand that from time-to-time things change and you may need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. Please read our cancellation policy below.
1. Postponement
If you reschedule your booking, these changes must meet the guidelines in our policies below for your entire deposit to be transferred to the new booking, this will not attract any cancellation fee. Alternatively, the current deposit may be held as a full credit to use within 2 years. Please note, all credits held or applied to future bookings cannot be issued as refunds.
2. Low Season: 1st May – 31st August (excluding school holidays, long weekends, & special events)
Deposits for reservations made in low season may be refunded if the park is notified at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A small administration fee of $50.00 applies to all cancelled bookings (except if postponed and deposit transferred or held). If cancelled within 7 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee of 1 (one) nights’ accommodation applies per cabin or site (including postponement).
3. Shoulder Season: 1st February – 30th April, 1st September – Summer School Holidays, Long weekends & special event periods.
Deposits for reservations made in low season may be refunded if the park is notified at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A small administration fee of $50.00 applies to all cancelled bookings (except if postponed and deposit transferred or held). If cancelled within 30 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee of 1 (one) nights’ accommodation applies per cabin or site (including postponement).
4. High Season: Summer/Christmas School Holidays & Autumn/Easter School Holidays (Dates vary, please confirm at time of booking)
Deposits for reservations made in High season may be refunded if the park is notified at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A small administration fee of $50.00 applies to all cancelled bookings (except if postponed and deposit transferred or held). If cancelled within 60 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booking cost applies per cabin or site (including Postponement).
Where a booking crosses over seasons, for example, a Christmas booking that extends into February, the highest season policy applies.
Please notify us immediately if you have not received your booking emails, or the details need to be adjusted.
Early Departures
We do not refund should you choose to cut short your reservation or holiday.
Important Note
If you do not notify the park of your cancellation in writing, prior to your arrival date, any payments made toward your booking will be forfeited.
